Who are the TATSUJIN?

TATSUJIN is the honorific humanity assigns to cyborg pilots who accepted President Rose’s offer: abandon organic bodies, interface with Javelion tactical fighters, and strike back against Geranium. Volunteers came from every walk of life — soldiers, criminals, prodigies — united only by willingness to pay an irreversible price. Public awe mixes with fear because these defenders no longer look fully human.

Truxton Extreme follows three named TATSUJIN through eighteen chapters of manga-backed action. Gameplay ships are shared; narrative episodes differentiate motives.

Ash Ricardo (35)

Ash Ricardo enters the war as a thirty-five-year-old public safety officer — a disciplined adult accustomed to protecting civilians under bureaucratic pressure. Bergamot’s episodes explore revenge and atonement themes cited in press releases — motivated by honour and revenge alongside Ash and Cyrilla’s drives. Expect sharper dialogue and morally grey flashbacks compared with Ash’s institutional heroism.

Players who enjoy anti-hero arcs should start Bergamot’s route after Tutorial, but stage layouts largely mirror other paths per reviews — skill training transfers.

Cyrilla (18?)

Cyrilla’s age is presented with uncertainty — eighteen with a question mark in official character materials — signaling a prodigy or hacker archetype whose consent and comprehension society might debate. She embodies the thirst for knowledge mentioned in marketing: understanding Geranium, Rose’s plan, or the Javelion tech itself may motivate her as much as patriotism.

Youth plus cyborg transformation is the story’s sharpest ethical edge. Manga sequences illustrated by Junya Inoue can lean dramatic because Cyrilla represents innocence traded for battlefield utility.

Rose’s plan requires volunteers willing to discard human flesh. That thematic bridge connects character arcs: Ash’s duty, Bergamot’s redemption, Cyrilla’s curiosity all respond differently to the same offer.

Geranium as antagonist force

Geranium is not a single mustache-twirling villain but a species of self-replicating machine life. Characters react to endless mechanical horror rather than dialogue-heavy rival pilots.
